How to register for school

The registration process is different for all levels of education. All youth sector students must meet the requirements for a Certificate of Eligibility to attend a public English school in Quebec. Requirements for adult and vocational learners can vary depending on what country you were born in and your previous education.

Is my child eligible to attend public English school?

To qualify for English language instruction in Quebec public schools, students must meet the as set out by the Quebec government. Can my child attend school before they are of age?

The Board may grant early entry (derogation) to a child who has not reached the age of admission. This requires an evaluation of the child by a psychologist. Learn more about this process.

Interboard Agreements

Students whose primary residence is outside the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬¸ßÇ帣Àû (ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬¸ßÇ帣Àû) territory but wish to attend an ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬¸ßÇ帣Àû school

Obtain the Inter-board Agreement form by the school board of their residential territory.
